Missouri Tooling & Automation was established in 2004 by a small group of individuals with extensive experience in the automation world. The startup company transformed its initial 20,000 sq. Warehouse lease into a facility suitable for building automated equipment. After a few small automation projects, MTA received its first Fortune 100 opportunity. Not only did MTA complete the project, it exceeded all customer expectations on delivery, performance, quality and budget. Additional automation projects from this new partnership marked the start of MTA’s multiple expansions. MTA purchased the existing lease in 2005 and quickly began construction on a clean assembly building, as well as additional engineering offices. A joint venture with a Singapore company the same year created MTASysMac, which enabled MTA to provide service, support and manufacturing capabilities in Southeast Asia.
